SIALKOT: Jakob Linulf, Denmark’s Ambassador to Pakistan, has expressed his resolve to make sincere efforts for cementing bilateral trade relations.
Addressing a meeting at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) on Wednesday, the ambassador urged exporters to harness untapped international trade markets in Denmark to cement trade between Denmark and Pakistan.
Abdul Ghafoor Malik, SCCI President, Wahab Jahangir, Senior Vice President, Amer Majeed Sheikh, Vice President, and members of the business community were also present in the meeting.
Denmark to fully support Pakistani businessmen
Jakob Linulf said that Denmark will extend all possible assistance to Pakistani traders and businessmen and they would be fully facilitated. Mutual trade relations between both should be further improved through exchanges of business delegations.
Highlighting climate change, he said that farmers in Pakistan were producing high-quality crops and collective efforts were required to cope with climate change and its severe impacts on food security.
SCCI President Abdul Ghafoor Malik said that our country was a country of the happiest and smartest people of the world and it has emerged as one of the most stable economies.
He voiced hope that the trade ties between both would be further consolidated which will benefit the people of both sides.
