ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday, the third death anniversary of Haseena Moin, the celebrated dramatist, playwright, and scriptwriter, was solemnly observed.

Hailing from Kanpur, she was born on November 20, 1941, and her family resettled in Pakistan after the partition in 1947. Haseena Moin left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape of Pakistan through her prolific work in various mediums such as stage, radio, and television.

Her creations, including timeless classics like ‘Tanhaiyan,’ ‘Ankahi,’ and ‘Dhoop Kinaray,’ continue to resonate with audiences, captivating generations with their compelling narratives and memorable characters.

Recognizing her immense talent and significant contributions to the arts, Haseena Moin was honored with the prestigious Pride of Performance award, a testament to her lasting impact on Pakistani entertainment.
