ISLAMABAD: The 39th death anniversary of famous and sensational film actor Waheed Murad was observed nationwide on Wednesday.
Waheed Murad, born on October 2, 1938, in Karachi, commenced his film career as a producer after completing his studies by joining the company established by his father, Nisar Murad.

In his production, Waheed Murad made his first production in 1961, named “Insaan Badalta Hai.”

Murad received 32 prestigious film awards for his acting and film career and received the major ‘Sitara-e-Imtiaz’ in November 2010 for significant contributions in the fields of literature, arts, and films.
The versatile, iconic, and stylish actor Waheed Murad died on November 23, 1983, while he was shooting his film ‘Hero’ in Lahore.
