Deaf Nigerian Dancers Enthralls Public

Public performances by deaf artists are a rare sight in Nigeria as there are little opportunities available for the disable people in the field of art and culture.

Professional coach Samuel James trained 20-year-old dancer Omowunmi Otunuyi. James had launched the Seams Deaf-Pro Foundation with a desire to help deaf artists to shine and to fight prejudice against them.

Otunuyi and others in the group are thankful to James for helping them to learn various dance rhythms during tough training sessions.
