KABUL: Daesh militant group claimed responsibility for an explosion that killed at least two people and injured 14 others on a bus in Kabul on Saturday. Police also confirmed the blast and said that the injured were shifted to the hospitals.
At least two people were killed and 14 others injured in a tragic explosion on a bus in Kabul’s Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood in Kabul, the city police spokesman Khalid Zadran confirmed.
Blast Kills 2 in Kabul
The blast, reported on Saturday, targeted the bus and resulted in the unfortunate loss of two civilian lives, with 14 more sustaining injuries. Police authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
Dasht-e-Barchi has been a recent focal point for such incidents, with a similar explosion in November claiming the lives of at least seven people on another bus. Daesh militant group claimed responsibility for that attack.
