Cutlery Exports Rise 8.68% to $10.308 Million in Two Months

ISLAMABAD: The exports of cutlery experienced a rise of 8.68 percent during the initial two months of the current financial year 2024-25, compared to the same months of the previous year, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) said.

Cutlery exports from the country totaled US $10.308 million during July-August (2024-25), up from US $9.485 million in July-August (2023-24), according to PBS.

On a year-on-year basis, cutlery exports increased by 18.43 percent in August 2024 compared to the same month last year, it added. Cutlery exports for August 2024 were recorded at US $6.112 million, compared to US $5.161 million in August 2023, the PBS further said.
