KARACHI: Local police and officials from the Sindh Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) worked together to conduct an intelligence-driven search operation near Malir Labour Square and the surrounding areas of Madrassa Darul Quran.
This operation was disclosed on Thursday by a CTD spokeswoman. It was conducted at two locations within the authority of Sukhan police station.
Utilizing the Talash App, 75 individuals underwent screening as part of the operation, resulting in the identification of two suspects who were subsequently handed over to the Sukhan police station for further investigation.
The Counter-Terrorist Force of CTD actively participated in this collaborative initiative. Furthermore, the CTD spokesperson emphasized the commitment to continue information-based operations across various regions in Sindh. —APP
