ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Croatia has accredited to Pakistan Dr. Drago Stambuk Friday called on Caretaker Minister for Foreign Affairs Jalil Abbas Jilani, local media reported.

The two sides discussed matters of mutual concerns during the meeting. They also held talks to enhance bilateral cooperation in a range of areas. On his part, Pakistan’s foreign minister expressed Islamabad’s desire to strengthen ties with Croatia. The FM also appreciated inauguration of Croatia’s Honorary Consulate in Karachi.
Earlier, Pakistan and Egypt agreed to continue to work together to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations.
They agreed during a meeting between Additional Foreign Secretary (Middle East) Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh with Egypt’s Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia Ahmed Shaheen. They also discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interests during the meeting.
