RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a stellar commentary panel for the upcoming three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, set to begin Tuesday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The panel is packed with cricketing legends, offering a perfect blend of insight, experience, and passion to cover the exciting contest.

Leading the lineup is former Sri Lankan middle-order batter Russel Arnold, alongside his compatriot and right-arm off-break bowler Roshan Abeysinghe.

They will be joined by Pakistan’s own cricketing icons, former opening batter Aamir Sohail and legendary pacer Waqar Younis, both bringing decades of international experience to the microphone.

In addition, former Pakistan women’s cricketer Urooj Mumtaz will offer her expertise, making the panel even more diverse and insightful. Zainab Abbas will take on hosting duties, ensuring smooth transitions and engaging interaction throughout the series.

The commentary team will provide live coverage as Pakistan aims to build on their recent successes.

The Men in Green recently concluded a successful home series against South Africa, winning both the T20I and ODI series 2-1, while the Test series ended in a 1-1 draw. These victories have boosted Pakistan’s confidence ahead of the Sri Lanka challenge.

The ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will take place on November 11, 13, and 15, with all matches scheduled at 2:30 PM local time.

Historically, the two teams have faced each other 157 times in ODIs, with Pakistan leading the head-to-head tally with 93 wins, compared to Sri Lanka’s 59 victories. Four matches have ended in no result, and one has been tied.

Following the ODI series, the focus will shift to the T20I tri-series, where Zimbabwe will join Pakistan and Sri Lanka in a competition starting on November 17.

The opening two T20I matches will be held in Rawalpindi, before the tournament moves to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium for the remaining fixtures and the final on November 29.
