BENGALURU, India: New Zealand set a mammoth target of 402 runs for Pakistan in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 match being played at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium today.

Pakistan is also facing a challenge to stay alive in World Cup 2023 as in case of a defeat, the Men in Green would be straightaway out of the tournament.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first in the must-win game against the Black Caps.

The team made one change inducting Hasan Ali to replace Usama Mir while the Kiwis made three changes in the squad. Ish Sodhi, Mark Chapman and Kane Williamson are playing today in place of James Neesham, Matt Henry and Will Young.

The winner of today’s match will become a strong contender to qualify for the semi-final berth.
