ISLAMABAD: National Players and management staff from the Afghan Cricket team visited the residence of Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani on Saturday.
According to a press release issued here, Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani received members of the Afghan national cricket team who expressed his delight to host the talented cricket of Afghanistan and discussed ways to strengthen cricketing ties between the two brothern nations.
He also expressed his views via his Twitter handle.

Ambassador Assures Support to Afghan Cricket Team
Nizamani assured his full support for the betterment of cricket in Afghanistan. He also expressed best wishes for their upcoming tours and appreciated their passion, efforts, commitment and dedication to the sport of cricket.
Meanwhile, the ambassador presented a calligraphic painting to the Chairman of the Afghan Cricket Board.
The management and players of the Afghan Cricket Board, including Chairman Mirwais Ashraf, CEO Naseeb Khan, National Side Captain Hashmatullah Shaheedi, Coach Imran Farhat, Rana Naveed ul Hassan and officials from the Pakistan embassy were also present on the occasion.
