ISLAMABAD: The statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Monday show that the number of critical Covid-19 patients has dropped sharply in Pakistan, with the country reporting only a dozen new coronavirus cases with no fatality during the last 24 hours.

According to the NIH, the death toll in Pakistan remained the same at 30,636, whereas the data of total infections has now crawled up to 1,575,818 after adding a new 12 cases.
During the last 24 hours, 3,062 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan, whereas the positivity ratio stood at 0.39 %. The number of infected persons in critical care has plunged to just 11.
