ISLAMABAD: A nationwide crackdown on power theft is in full swing. In this regard, cases are registered against those involved in power theft and efforts are being made to collect dues after arrest.
Till date 13,621 persons were detained, 27,381 complaints were filed, and 17.67 billion rupees were collected between September 1 and October 8.
According to the authorities, strict legal action is being taken against all individuals arrested for power theft. They also emphasized that the relevant institutions will intensify their efforts in the fight against usurpation of power.
