ISLAMABAD: The deadly coronavirus claimed three more lives in the country during the last 24 hours, the National Institute of Health (NIH) said on Wednesday.
According to the NIH, a total of 8,815 tests were conducted for the coronavirus and of them, 50 patients have tested positive across the country.
The NIH said that the overall ratio of coronavirus cases remained at 0.62 per cent across the country.
According to the NIH, a total of 45 coronavirus patients were in critical condition in different hospitals of the country.

The highest number of 22 positive cases of coronavirus has been reported in Karachi during the last 24 hours, the NIH said, adding that the overall positive ratio of coronavirus in Karachi remained 1.86 per cent.
The 2,573 coronavirus tests were conducted in Karachi during the last 24 hours.
The NIH said that Lahore reported the second-highest number of 13 positive coronavirus cases during the last 24 hours. The ratio of coronavirus-positive cases remained at 1.26 per cent in Lahore.
According to the NIH, a total of 1,028 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Lahore during the last 24 hours.
It said that the rate of positive coronavirus cases in Islamabad has reached 1.23 per cent, with eight new cases reported during the last 24 hours.
The NIH said that a total of 651 coronavirus tests were conducted in Islamabad during the last 24 hours.
