ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Thursday that the government had laid the groundwork for future generations to be well-equipped to understand their rights and obligations by incorporating computer coding and the country’s Constitution into the national curriculum.
He tweeted that the foundation of any educational infrastructure is the curriculum. “The idea is that when our children take charge of this country, they are well-versed and thoroughly equipped with constitutional and information technology knowledge,” he stated.
He stated that this reform has been spearheaded by the Ministry of Education and his Strategic Reforms Unit, which is directed by Salman Sufi.
He explained that the goal is to make sure that within the brief period that the administration is in office, significant educational interventions are implemented that have an impact. —APP
