The TG Students’ Union is concerned about the disappearance of two students, Hijam Luwangbi and Phijam Hemanjit, who have been missing since July 6.
Both students, who live in Imphal West, just graduated from TG Higher Secondary School and Kindergarten School, respectively.
Manshi Sagolshem, general secretary of the TG pupils’ Union, addressed the media at TG School in Imphal and urged the state government to take prompt action in identifying the missing pupils.

According to current information, Luwangbi and Hemanjit were sighted riding a bike together in Keishampat, Imphal West, on July 6 at approximately 8:15 a.m., she said, adding that following CCTV footage revealed that they were last seen going towards Nambol in the Bishnupur district.
According to the police report, their cellphones were followed to the Kwakta region of Bishnupur district, where they were discovered to be turned off.
Days later, Hemanjit’s phone was tracked down in Lamdan, Churachandpur district, using a different SIM card, she said.
