ISLAMABAD: The Centaurus Mall during the sacred month of Ramadan has been hosting a series of Islamic exhibitions that showcase the rich heritage and history of Islam, a statement said on Thursday. This year’s exhibition stands out with its exceptional curation, offering visitors a rare opportunity to witness some of the most treasured artifacts from Islamic history.
One of the most remarkable pieces on display is the 40-year-old Ghilaf e Kaba. Alongside it is the Key of the Holy Kaaba, a symbol of custodianship over the sacred mosque. Adding to the allure of the exhibition is the presence of Nalain Mubarak, the blessed sandals of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The exhibition boasts a fascinating collection of ancient Qurans, some dating back centuries, offering a glimpse into the evolution of Islamic calligraphy and manuscript tradition. Additionally, the exhibition includes a 1000-year-old model of the Kaaba.
In addition to these remarkable artifacts, the exhibition features a diverse array of Islamic relics from the Ottoman and Mughal periods. From ornate calligraphy to finely crafted metalwork, these artifacts offer insights into the artistic and cultural achievements of Islamic civilizations throughout the history.
Spanning over 10 days, the exhibition aims to provide attendees with an enriching and immersive experience, allowing them to delve into the depths of Islamic heritage and history. The Islamic exhibition serves as a testament to the enduring legacy of Islam and its profound impact on art, culture, and civilization.
