ISLAMABAD: The Met office has forecast cold and partly cloudy weather in most parts of Pakistan during the upcoming 12 hours while National Highways and Motorway police have appealed to the people to avoid traveling through E-35 Hazara Expressway from Attar interchange to Haripur interchange from 07:00 am to 03:00 pm due to heavy maintenance work.

Pakistan’s met Office said on Saturday that cold and partly cloudy weather is forecast in most parts of the country during the upcoming 12 hours. Light rain snow in the hills is expected in isolated areas in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan. Foggy conditions are forecasted to persist over plain areas of Punjab, upper Sindh morning hours during the next 12 hours.

According to the Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) cloudy weather with chances of light rain and snow is in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula while partly cloudy and foggy weather in Jammu during morning hours.

Weather Forecast and Motorway
National Highways and Motorway police said on Saturday that E-35 Hazara Expressway from Attar interchange to Haripur interchange will remain closed for traffic from 07:00 am to 03:00 pm due to heavy maintenance work.
The spokesperson of National Highways and Motorway police appealed to the people to use substitute routes including Peshawar-Islamabad and Mansehra-Abbottabad link roads to avoid inconvenience while planning their travel.
