Weather Update: Cold, Dry Weather Expected in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Most plain areas across the country can anticipate predominantly cold and dry weather in the next twelve hours, with the northern regions experiencing very cold conditions and partial cloudiness. Widespread dense fog and smog are likely to persist in the plain areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh. The Pothohar region and Kashmir may experience frost in some places during the morning hours.

The morning temperatures recorded in major cities are as follows: Islamabad and Peshawar at four degrees Celsius, Lahore at seven degrees, Karachi at seventeen degrees, Quetta and Murree at one degree, Gilgit at minus-two degrees, and Muzaffarabad at three degrees Celsius.

In the forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula can expect very cold and dry weather, while Leh may experience very cold and partly cloudy conditions. However, Jammu is expected to have cold weather accompanied by dense fog.

This morning’s temperatures in the region are as follows: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at minus-two degrees Celsius, Jammu at eight degrees, Leh at minus-nine degrees, Pulwama at minus-three degrees, and Baramulla at minus-one degree Celsius.
