ISLAMABAD: Expect predominantly cold and dry weather across most regions of the country over the next twelve hours. Anticipate the potential for smog/fog in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh during morning and night.
Morning temperatures in major cities were as follows: Islamabad, Peshawar, and Muzaffarabad at five degrees Celsius; Lahore at eleven; Karachi at fifteen; Quetta at one; Gilgit at minus four; and Murree at four degrees Celsius.
For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla can expect cold and dry weather, while Leh will experience very cold and dry conditions. Morning temperatures in these areas were recorded at Srinagar (zero degrees Celsius), Jammu (nine degrees Celsius), Leh (minus six degrees Celsius), Pulwama and Shopian (minus one degree Celsius each), and Anantnag and Baramulla (minus two degrees Celsius each).
