ISLAMABAD: In the upcoming twelve hours, the upper regions of the country will experience predominantly cold and overcast conditions, notably turning very cold in the northern territories and north Balochistan. Expect lingering dense fog and smog across the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.
Morning temperatures in major cities stood at Islamabad and Peshawar at four degrees Celsius, Lahore at six, Karachi at sixteen, Quetta at minus-three, Gilgit at minus-two, Murree at one, and Muzafarabad at three degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates very cold and partly cloudy weather in Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with Jammu experiencing cold weather alongside dense fog and Leh expecting partly cloudy and very cold conditions.
Morning temperatures there were recorded at Srinagar minus-two degrees Celsius, Jammu at five, Leh at minus-eleven, and Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula at minus-three and minus-four degrees Celsius respectively.
