ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (MET) has said that cold and dry weather was expected in most parts while cloudy in the upper parts of the country in the next 12 hours
It said light rain and snowfall were expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa(KPK), Gilgit-Baltistan(GB) and Kashmir. Shallow fog is likely to occur in a few plain areas of Punjab, as per the MET.

Air quality
The air quality in Lahore is 206 US AQI; in Bahawalpur, it is 208, 166 in Muridke, 160 in Mangla, and 170 in Rawalpindi. In Sindh, the air quality in Karachi is 211 US AQI, while Islamabad’s air quality stands at 157. In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the air quality in Peshawar is 162, while 117 in Abbottabad.
Recorded temperatures
According to the MET, a maximum of 7 degrees Celsius (°C) temperature was recorded in Islamabad, 11°C in Lahore, 14°C in Karachi, 4°C in Quetta, and 5°C in Gilgit.
Minimum recorded temperatures
Today’s lowest minimum temperatures of -11 °C was recorded in Leh, -06 °C in Kalam and Gupis, -05 °C in Parachinar -05, Astore and Bagrote and -03 °C in Mirkhani.
