PESHAWAR: The CNG Association of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a rally on Saturday to express unwavering support for Pakistan’s armed forces.
The rally, held outside the Press Club of Peshawar, witnessed participation from individuals representing various walks of life.
Chanting slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ (Long Live Pakistan) and ‘Pakistan Army Paindabad’ (Long Live Pakistan Army), the marchers proceeded through the main Sunari Masjid Road, brandishing placards and banners bearing slogans in support of the Pakistan Army.
During their speeches, the rally organizers emphasized their solidarity with the armed forces and their commitment to a stable Pakistan.
Commending the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces, the participants asserted that the army is the guardian of the nation and that those who speak against them cannot be loyal to the country. They pledged their unwavering support for the Pakistan Army and expressed deep respect for the martyrs and veterans, considering them as the pride of the nation.
Strong support for Pakistan army
The rally attendees condemned the individuals who vandalized private and public property and attacked military installations. They vehemently denounced the anti-state protests that resulted in the storming of state buildings, including Radio Pakistan and the Associated Press of Pakistan Office in Peshawar.
The participants regarded the Pakistan Army as the “lifeline for patriotic Pakistanis” and vowed to stand firm against any attempts to defame the armed forces. They also expressed their gratitude towards the soldiers stationed near the Press Club of Peshawar by showering them with flowers. Local leaders attending the rally acknowledged the immense sacrifices made by soldiers who defend the country’s borders with unwavering courage.
