CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur Orders for Food Price Control in Ramadan

PESHAWAR: After taking oath as Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur issued directives to the concerned authorities to ensure price control mechanism in the province during the holy month of Ramadan. The chief minister also directed for proper availability of food items in the holy month.

While issuing the first order Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur directed all the commissioners and deputy commissioners in the respective divisions and districts to strictly follow and implement the instructions. 

Accordingly 

the Department of Interior and Tribal Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also sent a letter to all the Deputy Commissioners in the province to ensure and implement the order on an immediate basis.

CM Ali Amin Gandapur Warns Action Against Violators

In his directions, Ali Amin also conveyed to the officials to have regular inspections in the market and Ramzan bazaars and also take strict action against the violators. Meanwhile, a meeting of the District Price Review Committees is also convened for Monday to expedite the move further.

Meanwhile, the CM also said in a statement that the fixed prices must be released on official social media platforms, FM radios and other outlets adding that all out-of-order machinery should be activated to check food and adulteration with a special focus on those shops, market, selling food, dishes during Sehri and Iftar times. The chief minister also instructed about to set up special checkposts to prevent hoarding, black marketing and smuggling. 

Ali Amin also directed for activation of the price control and complaint system by March 8 and warned of strict action against officials for any delay and negligence.
