JEDDAH: Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed that his team is completely prepared to compete for the Club World Cup title, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday. According to the SPA, this year’s edition of the mega event is being held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
During a press conference on Thursday, Pep Guardiola spoke in advance of the final match of the 2023 Club World Cup. The match between Manchester City and Fluminense, will be played on Friday. Guardiola said that tomorrow’s match is decisive for lifting this cup, which could be a once-in-a-lifetime achievement, the SPA reported.
Guardiola admitted that Fluminense has players of high quality and talent who are experienced in the Brazilian style that dates back to the 70s and 80s, the SPA added. However, he maintained that his team knows the significance of the final match and intends to overcome the opponent team.

Meanwhile, Manchester City’s Kyle Walker stressed the rich history and strength of the mega event. Believes it will push his side forward to win their first cup in their first participation. “Winning this mega event would be a great opportunity and an important achievement following winning the European Champions Cup,” Walker maintained.
