ISLAMABAD: The upper regions of the country anticipate mainly cloudy weather over the next 12 hours.
However, expect rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall in the Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir during the evening and night. Central/southern parts of Punjab and upper Sindh may experience smog and fog in the morning.
Morning temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad, Peshawar, and Muzafarabad at nine degrees Celsius; Lahore at fifteen; Karachi at seventeen; Quetta at six; Gilgit at two; and Murree at eight degrees Celsius.
For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla expect cloudy weather with a chance of rain, wind, and thunderstorms during the evening and night. Leh will experience cloudy and cold conditions, while Jammu will have partly cloudy weather.
This morning’s temperatures in the region were recorded as follows: Srinagar at three degrees Celsius, Jammu at twelve, Leh at minus three, Pulwama at two, Anantang and Shopian at four, and Baramulla at seven degrees Celsius.
