WASHINGTON: The Republican chairman of the US House of Representatives Oversight Committee James Comer on Sunday demanded visitor logs for US President Joe Biden’s residence in Wilmington, Delaware, following classified materials were found in his home.

James Comer wrote a letter to White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain today and said that without a list of people who had visited the house of Joe Biden, the Americans will never know who had made access to these classified documents.

However, he said he would not demand visitor logs for former President Trump’s house. More than 100 classified pages were found in the house of Trump.
He told CNN that there is no need to spend time on Trump as Democrats had spent a lot of time over the matter during the last six years.

The Republican party in the US House of Representatives had started a probe on Friday into Biden’s classified documents. James Comer’s committee is also examining the case.

Democratic Representative Adam Schiff said that Congress should seek an output from the US intelligence community on whether any classified documents, from either Biden or Trump, jeopardized the national security of the US.
