LAHORE: Claire Polosak from Australia has been appointed as the on-field umpire for all eight white-ball matches between the women’s cricket teams of Pakistan and West Indies, taking place in Karachi from April 18 to May 3.
The West Indies women’s cricket team is scheduled to arrive in Karachi on April 14 to participate in three ODIs, which are part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25, along with five T20Is. All these matches will be held at the National Bank Stadium.
For the ODI series, Ali Naqvi, a former Test batter and a member of both the PCB and ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, will head the playing control team. Meanwhile, Muhammad Javed, also a member of both the PCB and ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, will lead the playing control team during the T20I series.
