PESHAWAR: A demonstration was held on Wednesday by members of civil society in front of the Bala Hisar Fort to express unwavering support for the Pakistan Army and the Frontier Corps.
The rally saw a significant turnout, with participants including people from all walks of life, students, former and current government officials, local leaders, and youth. They gathered to show their solidarity and admiration for the brave soldiers of the Pakistan Army and the Frontier Corps.
Enthusiastic slogans in favor of the armed forces were raised, and the participants carried placards with messages supporting the army and the Frontier Corps. They expressed gratitude and appreciation for the dedication and patience displayed by the soldiers during the violent protests on May 9 and 10.
In a united voice, the rally participants strongly condemned the attacks on defense establishments that took place on May 9. They called upon the government to take decisive action against those responsible for these acts of aggression and demanded severe punishment for them.

During the rally, speakers reiterated their unwavering commitment to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies. They acknowledged the sacrifices made by the armed forces and the Frontier Corps in establishing peace in the tribal districts.

Meanwhile, in Sukkur, the Inter Global Human Development Society organized a rally to express solidarity with the armed forces. The participants, marching from Military Road Sukkur to Globe Chowk, chanted slogans in support of the Pakistan Army. Speakers at the rally emphasized the importance of countering the enemy’s evil plots aimed at destabilizing the country.
Prominent members of the civil society, including Jamil Shakil Ahmed, Shabir Soomro, and Bashir Soomro, addressed the rally, paying tribute to the sacrifices made by law enforcement agencies.
