SAINT PETERSBURG: The leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) embarked on a cultural exploration in Saint Petersburg.
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, accompanied by Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Bedimuhamedow, and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited several prominent cultural facilities.
The tour commenced with a visit to the state museum-reserve Pavlovsk, where the leaders had the opportunity to delve into the rich cultural heritage preserved in the historical site. Subsequently, they explored the Tsarskoye Selo museum reserve and the Catherine Palace, gaining insights into the historical and architectural significance of these landmarks.
The excursion continued with a visit to the iconic Peterhof Palace, offering the leaders a glimpse into the opulent history and grandeur of the palace and its surroundings.
