BEIJING: The Chinese government has confirmed that State Council Premier Li Qiang will be participating in the 18th G20 Summit scheduled to take place in New Delhi.
China has accepted an invitation from the Republic of India’s government to participate in the 18th G20 Summit. Premier Li Qiang is set to visit India for the G20 Summit, which is scheduled for September 9 and 10 in the Indian capital of New Delhi, confirmed Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning during her regular briefing on Monday.
US President ‘Disappointed’ as XI Misses G20 Summit
Earlier on Sunday, US President Joe Biden had expressed disappointment that Chinese President Xi Jinping would not attend the G20 summit.
