RIYADH: President of China Xi Jinping departed Riyadh after concluding his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Saturday morning.
Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the kingdom, and Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, were seen off the Chinese President at King Khalid International Airport.

China’s President attended summits with Saudi Arabia and Gulf states leaders; President talked as a historic milestone for relations with the energy-rich Middle East during his visit.

Xi Jinping said that the relations between China and the Arab countries would witness great developments in the future.
He highlighted close security and energy relation with Gulf states during summit meetings in the Saudi capital.

Both countries’ joint statement was released after the Saudi-Chinese summit. China and Saudi Arabia vowed to prioritize relations as part of their foreign policies and set a model of cooperation and solidarity for developing countries.
