ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Board of Investment and Special Initiatives Chaudhry Salik Hussain on Wednesday said that the Chinese company Sinovac Tech has showed its interest to invest $150 million in Pakistan’s pharmaceutical sector.
A delegation led by Yang Jiandou, Chairman of All Pakistan Chinese Enterprise Association (APCEA) and BD Sinovac Biotech Chiang Sun called on the federal minister here. During the meeting, business and investment opportunities were discussed.
The federal minister hailed the investment interest from the Chinese firm Sinovac Tech, a leading vaccine manufacturer and said that it would benefit Pakistan.
He also assured the Chinese delegation of full cooperation.
