ISLAMABAD: The Chinese Embassy in Islamabad has extended congratulation to all the Pakistanis across the world on the occasion of ‘Independence Day’.
In a statement via its social media account, the embassy prayed for the prosperity and development of Pakistan.

It added that said China will always stand with Pakistan.
Earlier, Ambassador of the US to Pakistan Donald Blome has also congratulated the people of Pakistan on its Independence Day. In a statement issued by the US Embassy in Pakistan the Ambassador said that the past year has been a proof to the strength of their ties.
The Ambassador said “We worked together on energy, health, and climate to support the Pakistani people’s recovery from last year’s devastating floods.
Pakistan Celebrates 76th Independence Day
Pakistan is celebrating 76th Independence Day today with renewed determination to work with the spirit of Pakistan Movement to make the nation a true Islamic welfare state.
Public and private departments are organizing special activities and functions, including discussion programmes, seminars, photo exhibitions, poetry, and national songs competitions with the focus on recognizing the contribution of leaders of the Pakistan Movement and sacrifices of the country’s national heroes.
The aim of such events and activities is to educate the students and new generation about the historical struggle for the creation of Pakistan.
