LONDON: China Southern Airlines launched a new direct flight service between London and Beijing on Wednesday.
The recently established route has one daily flight that takes off from Heathrow Airport at 10:30 p.m. local time and arrives at Beijing Daxing International Airport after a journey of about 10 hours.
Passengers arriving at the Daxing airport can connect with flights to a number of Chinese cities, including Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, and Chongqing, as well as to foreign locations, including Osaka, Tshkent, Tokyo, and more.
A passenger with the last name Niu remarked while waiting to check in, “We have never landed at the Daxing airport because it was only recently built, and we are looking forward to the experience there.” — APP
