BEIJING: China’s Vice President Han Zheng received the Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan, Rustam Emomali, in Beijing on Tuesday and discussed important matters of mutual interest with him.
Han said the China-Tajikistan ties have made continuous headway, with fruitful results of cooperation under the strategic guidance of the two nations’ leaders, according to Xinhua.
He said China is ready to work with Tajikistan to work on a significant consensus between the two heads of state, expand pragmatic cooperation, better synergize development strategies, expand security cooperation, and intensify international coordination to boost the strategic security and development interests of the two nations, as well as bolster common prosperity.
Explaining Chinese modernization, he said that Beijing sincerely welcomes Tajikistan to take a ride on the express train of China’s economic development and realize its own modernization.
Relations Between Tajikistan and China
Rustam Emomali said developing relations with China is a diplomatic priority for his country. Tajikistan views China as a reliable partner on the world stage.
He expressed willingness to expand cooperation in various fields to promote further development of the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.
Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng also met with Rustam Emomali on Tuesday.
