BEIJING: Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Deng Li has held meeting with the visiting delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Beijing, local media reported on Friday.
As per details, the minister said that Beijing attaches high importance to growing its ties with the OIC and Islamic nations. Deng Li added that the OIC symbolizes the independence of Islamic nations, unity and acts as the bridge for Beijing to develop its relations with Islamic nations, the Chinese Ministry of foreign affairs said in a statement.

The Minister said that Beijing stands ready to work with the OIC to enhance further mutual trust, jointly uphold the principle of non-interference in domestic affairs. The OIC delegation said that Beijing is a country that has scored extraordinary achievements in its social and economic development.
The OIC lauds Beijing’s contribution to supporting the social and economic development of Islamic nations and expects to further enlarge its cooperation with China.
