BEIJING: The National Bureau of Statistics data showed that natural gas output in China grew more quickly in July.
Natural gas production increased 7.6 percent nationwide to 18.4 billion cubic meters in the past month. A 2.1 percentage point increase above June’s growth rate was seen.
According to the bureau, natural gas imports increased by 18.5 percent in the past month to 10.31 million tonnes. China’s natural gas production increased to 134 billion cubic meters from January to July, up 5.7% annually. —Xinhua/APP
