PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister of Cambodia Samdech Techo Hun Sen said on Monday that China’s rapid development has greatly benefited the socio-economic development of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) nations.
Speaking at an event, after receiving Lifetime Achievement Award from the Malaysia-based Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific for contributing to growing ASEAN-China relations, Hun Sen said that ASEAN-China cooperation has grown gradually over the past 30 years as China plays a role of key supporter of unity and development in Association of Southeast Asian Nations countries.

Cambodian Prime Minister said that in terms of economic, social, and geopolitical dimensions, China’s development is a miracle accomplishment that has benefited not only the Chinese people but also Association of Southeast Asian Nations and Cambodia.
ASEAN countries Cambodia, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Philippines, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam. So the Association of Southeast Asian Nations countries and China established their relations and dialogue in 1991.
Hun Sen said that the Association of Southeast Asian Nations-China cooperation and relations have been starting a new chapter under the context of the implementation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the formation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations-China Free Trade Agreement. — APP
