China-Pakistan Land Resources Institute Launched

BEIJING: The signing and inauguration ceremony of the “China-Pakistan Land Resources Institute” was held at Jiangxi College of Applied Technology on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Education Attache from the Embassy of Pakistan in China, Afifa Shajia Awais, said that educational cooperation was a crucial element of Pakistan-China collaboration.

She expressed the hope that the cooperation model of Pakistan-China joint training of professional talents, co-construction, and sharing of advanced vocational education concepts would lead to the training of more excellent Pakistani land resources survey and management of technical and professional personnel.

Afifa Shajia Awais said that the embassy would continue to monitor the institute’s development and provide the required support.

Deputy Director General of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Natural Resources, Tao Xiaoju, participated in the ceremony and introduced the overall development of Jiangxi and its unique mineral advantages.

He said that the establishment of the institute represented a new milestone in the collaboration between both countries in the field of education and another important achievement of the amicable and pragmatic partnership between Sindh Province and Jiangxi Province.

China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Marked by Energy, Mineral Cooperation Projects

He said that the whole China-Pakistan Economic Corridor was marked by energy and mineral cooperation projects, which demanded a considerable number of skilled technical professionals specialized in land resources and mineral exploration.
