ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has held a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Islamabad today and discussed bilateral cooperation and ties.
The two sides agreed to enhance bilateral trade and undertake joint efforts for peace and stability in the region. In his remarks, the Speaker of National Assembly said that hosting SCO meeting is an honour for Pakistan and it will project positive image of the nation. He added that this platform will also enhance regional cooperation. He added that Beijing is a strategic partner of Islamabad.
He added that parliamentary level cooperation between China and Pakistan will be enhanced. He further said that exchange of parliamentary delegations will also be promoted in future.
