BEIJING: China has offered deep condolences for those who lost their lives in the tragic train accident in Pakistan earlier this week.
Chinese foreign ministry’s spokesperson said in a statement “We extend our deep condolences for the victims and sympathies to their families and those who have been injured,”.
The spokesperson further said that the government and people of China were deeply saddened by the heavy casualties caused by the accident, and wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the incident.
Train accident in Pakistan
Earlier on August 6, a passenger train derailed near Nawabshah district in Sindh province killing at least 30 people while more than 100 were injured.
