BEIJING: Chinese President Xi Jinping has told North Korean president ‘Kim Jong Un’ that China is determined and willing to work together with North Korea to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the regional and global context.
This is revealed by North Korean state media broadcaster KCNA on Saturday, citing Chinese President Xi’s letter to North Korean President Kim. North Korean broadcaster KCNA did not mention North Korea’s recent missile launches in the region that have escalated tensions around the Korean peninsula, which followed recent joint military drills between South Korea and the United States.
