BEIJING: A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson on Thursday said that the economic policies of certain developed countries were the key reason behind the financial hurdles of a huge number of developing countries including Pakistan and emphasized on concerted efforts of all and sundry to play a constructive and productive role in the economic and social development of Pakistan.
The spokesperson Mao Ning said this amid her egular briefing held here at the International Press Center (IPC) on Thursday. It must be pointed out that the economic policy of a certain developed nation is the key reason behind the financial hurdles of a large number of developing countries including Pakistan, she said
Intern’l Community role in Pakistan’s economic development
The spokesperson said that the Western-led commercial creditors and the multilateral financial organizations and institutions were the basic creditors for developing nations, adding that “China urges for concerted efforts by all to play a constructive and optimistic role in the economic and social development of Pakistan.”
Mano Ning highlighted, “Pakistan and China are all-weather strategic cooperation partners and iron-clad friends. Both the countries have supported each other whenever needed.”
“China always carries out financial and economic cooperation with Pakistan and helps the country to achieve steady economic growth, achieve independence development and improve its livelihood,” she added.
