LONDON: Visitors from China who arrive in the United Kingdom (UK) next week will not face mandatory Covid-19 tests on arrival, UK media reported on Monday.

According to The Independent testing at Heathrow Airport will not be mandatory and those who test positive will neither be ordered to self-isolate nor quarantined.

The United Kingdom last week had announced that passengers arriving in Britain from China would need a negative Covid-19 test taken no more than 2-day prior to departure following a surge in infections in China.
