QUETTA: China has shown a special interest in improving the education system in Gwadar, Balochistan province of Pakistan.
A handout issued by the DGPR on Sunday said that a meeting was held between the District Education Officer (DEO) Gwadar, the General Manager Administration of Gwadar Port, Zhao Yaoding and General Manager Administration Jerry Stunt.
The progress of the ongoing projects with the cooperation of China in Gwadar schools was reviewed during the meeting.
A package plan was presented by the DEO Gwadar for 1,200 students of the Gwadar district, which was approved by the Chinese authorities.
Implementation of Education Project in September
The implementation of this project will be started next month.
Zhao Yaoding said that he will fully cooperate with the development of the education system in Gwadar.
