ISLAMABAD: ChildLife Foundation organized a bootcamp training session on Pediatric Emergency Medicine at PIMS Islamabad for 12 government doctors from PIMS and DHQ Attock, THQ Hazro, THQ Taxila and THQ Hasan Abdal where ChildLife’s telemedicine network is operational.
The session covered a wide spectrum of vital topics in pediatric emergency medicine, providing hands-on training in areas such as trauma, anaphylaxis, anti-rabies vaccination, airway management, poisoning, and HBB (Helping Babies Breathe) techniques.
By addressing these critical areas, the training aimed to enhance the capacity of on-ground government doctors in DHQs and THQs and ensure they are well-versed with the latest practices and evolving needs of pediatric emergency care.
