LAHORE: Chief Secretary Punjab Kamran Ali Afzal has extended his leave for another 30 days to continue his stance of not working further with government of Punjab, local media reported here on Sunday.
Before the recent move, Kamran Afzal availed leave twice and still reluctant to come on duty. Earlier Kamran Afzal had requested the federal government that as he don’t want to continue on the post, therefore he should be relieved from the said responsibility. However Federal government didn’t take any action on the issue till filing of the report.
Having no response from the government, the Chief Secretary extended his leave for another thirty days. Government of Punjab has accepted his application of leave and conferred additional charge of Chief Secretary to Abdullah Sumbal, Chairman Planning and Development till 6th of November.
