ISLAMABAD: Elevate the classic combination of oil and garlic by adding cherry tomatoes and fresh basil for a delightful twist.
Ingredients:
375g Spaghetti
1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
5 Garlic Cloves, crushed
400g Cherry Tomatoes
1/3 cup Chopped Fresh Basil Leaves

Method
Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until tender. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid.
In a large non-stick frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and cherry tomatoes, cooking for 3 to 4 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.
Next, add the pasta and reserved cooking liquid to the pan. Then add salt and pepper. Toss and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until everything is combined and heated through.
Serve with grated cheese and fresh basil on top.
