ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gillani on Sunday said that dialogue should be held with all political parties in the country including the PTI.
Talking to media he said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been captain of the team and he should take the decisions. “If he takes any decision, we will back him on national issues,” he said.
He added it is good if dialogue has been ongoing saying the prime minister should lead the talks. Gillani went on to say all political parties have to get united over the one-point agenda of national security. “Offices come and go, one must care about the country and the nation,” he further said.
The PPP leader said one can express differences with a leader but not with Pakistan, adding that the country formed to keep it strong, one must be prepared to offer any sacrifice.
He said the lack of unity among the political parties provides room for terrorism and added that all political parties must get united in these difficult times.
Senate Chairman said that the youth should not be misguided He said Pakistan has been a nuclear power with its constitution, courts and all institutions at their place.
